About Me

Much of my personal life has inspired my work life. Whether in movement or academic realms, I strive to infuse my work with goodness, truth, curiosity, intention, and joyfulness. I strive to help move things forward, whether in someone’s sense of ease and freedom in their body, their life, their community, or beyond.

Some of the ingredients of my life that contribute heavily to my work include:

·         having been an avid athlete in my teens and always living an overall active lifestyle

·         having been a long-time stay-at-home mom

·         having dealt with postpartum health challenges

·         having lived in and traveled to diverse communities across Canada and overseas

·         having recognized systemic inequities and ongoing harm in the systems of Canadian society

·         having felt the imperative to understand my settler ancestry and understand how best to carry out my work life and personal life in an anti-racist manner, as well as teach my daughters to do the same

Offering compassion- and curiosity-filled facilitation, education, and mentorship through movement and wellness practices is a privilege and a true joy. I am grateful for and welcome all opportunities to contribute my experience, my knowledge, my voice, and my heart for the amplification and progress of our individual and collective unfolding and transformation.
